Wiz: You see, Johnny was bound to the demon Zarathos, who defeated the original Spirit of Vengeance centuries before. Well anyway, it turns out Johnny did almost nothing to save Crash, because he was cured of his cancer, but he died in a freak accident not too long after.īoomstick: Buuuuuuut because Johnny was still bound to Mephisto, he had to hold up his end of the contract, which was to become the Spirit of Vengeance, otherwise known as. Wiz: Man, the Marvel universe is WEIRD sometimes. Buuuuuut, it turns out he didn't actually summon Satan, it was actually some guy named Mephisto. Wiz: Actually, Boomstick- I- *sigh* Fine, you win that one.īoomstick: Then Crash was diagnosed with cancer, and Johnny did what any 3edgy5me teenager would do, and that's summon Satan for help. He and Roxanne, well, the two of them were very close to each other-īoomstick: Ugh, that's disgusting! I may be a redneck, but I still think incest is disgusting! Wiz: Johnny was then adopted by Craig "Crash" Smith, and he lived with him as well as his new stepmother, Mona, and his stepsister, Roxanne.
Wiz: Born into a life of stunt driving, the child Johnathon Blaze was destined for an unconventional life.īoomstick: Pfft, no one calls him Johnathon! He's Johnny! But anyway, "Destined for an unconventional life"? Wiz, if by "unconventional life", you mean his dad dying and his mom leaving, then yes, that's a very unconventional life. Wiz: And it is our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to see who would win in a Death Battle. Like Ghost Rider, the Spirit of Vengeance. Wiz: Demonic beings who fight others - we often think of these as villains.īoomstick: But then you see these guys, and BAM! You're wrong. Will Alucard pay for his sins or will Ghost Rider be sent back to the depths of Hell? Introduction The only complicated part was using Mosfets to get the control signal for the LEDs from the Arduino, but the power supply from the battery pack.Marvel vs Hellsing! Two demonically powered beings collide for supremacy. The circuitry was pretty simple, I basically just ran two groupings of LEDs off a 12V power supply, and controlled the fade and glow of each group with an Arduino Uno microcontroller. I airbrushed with with some red, orange and yellow gradients, and once that was dry I got to work on the electronics.

The last step was making the fire, which I did using polyfiber stuffing, and shaped with hot glue as a base, tacky glue to shape the points, and a lot of manual twisting and shaping by hand. Once the silicone cast came out (I ended up having to do a couple of repair injections to flesh out some of the patchy spots), I used Pyscho Paints (basically just more super thinned out, pigmented silicone) to airbrush the paint job on the skull, which then bonds to the original casting, so your paint never comes off! Now I had a skull that perfectly fit my head and face, and was super flexible so it can move with my jaw movements.

Once a both of those were finished setting and I had prepared all my injection holes for the casting process, I had to open them back up, scrape out all the clay, clean up the bust, clamp the molds back on in place over the bust and then mix up some Dragon Skin silicone to inject into them, which I did using a big jumbo sized syringe. Then I made a plaster mold around that, called the mother mold, which makes sure the silicone mold within doesn't stretch or deform. Once the sculpt was finished and detailed, I used Rebound 25, a mold making silicone, to brush on a mold around the sculpt which captures all the surface detail. Certainly! So it started with a bust cast of me, which gave me a base to sculpt on, and then using clay I sculpted the skull.
